| Tupac Poetry |
Tupac wrote this poem sometime between 1988 and 1990 because
in 'Only 4 the Righteous' he wrote about 'Strictly Dope' a rap group he joined together with
Ray-Luv and DJ Diz. It was Leile Steinberg who later introduced Tupac to Shock G, from 'Digital Underground'.
Leila
Steinberg: 'I called Shock and said, "I don't give a fuck how busy you are on your new album 'cause you'll probably want Pac on it. So you need to stop what you're doing and let me bring this man to you." We got into the studio and Tupac had written a song called "Panther Power" and, man, those lyrics grabbed you.' |
