I'm not sure who all the songs are performed by I'm told it's all ex-deathrow artists, Bad Azz is the only artist that's been confirmed to be on the CD for sure.  You can purchase the album at Amazon.   Speaking of Bad Azz, he's suing Deathrow and Amaru records for the song he did with Pac called Krazy on the Makaveli CD.  He's suing for $500,000.  I think it's alright that he's suing because in all honesty he does deserve the money, but I wonder if he'd still be suing had he been able to release the original version of "Ghetto Star" with Pac's verse.

Aug 28  More Deathrow news

Some more deathrow news, a source has told me that the album "Set it Off" is not the Dogg Pound's new CD, as a previous source stated, but it's the name of  the upcoming Deathrow Dis Compilation.  Rumor is it will have 2 songs by Tupac, and also feature artists including Top Dogg, Swoop G, Lil' C-Style, V.K, Tha Realest and Doobie.  It's also rumored that the Cash Money crew will feature on some songs dissing No Limit.  Thanks to Chris for the info.

Aug 26  Anagram, Deathrow, Makaveli mirc

Ok, now I don't believe in the alive rumors, I believe Tupac is dead and that people should let him rest until proven otherwise, but The Chaldean Outlaw pointed out something interesting.  If you take all the letters from the title of the Makaveli Album, "makaveli the don killuminati the 7 day theory" they can be rearranged to spell "ok on tha 7th u think Im dead yet im really alive".  Interesting.  Word is Deathrow is opening up a new homepage sometime in September, the url is going to be DeathRowRecords2000.com.  Daz and Kurrupt are reportedly working on a new album which is going to be called "Set it Off" and apparently Daz disses Puff Daddy on one of the tracks.  In case you didn't know Makaveli Records is going to be distributed under Rap-A-Lot Records, only the Outlawz are on the label as of yet.  Thanks to Rukahs at Thug Niggaz for that info.  The Makaveli mirc script has been released as a private beta and should be ready to be released soon.

Aug 23  Makaveli mIRC, additions, site news

The new script is about a week, maybe a bit longer away from beta testing, but it's extremely close to being able to be released and it's going to be awesome.  The site's won another award from mrmakaveli.8m.com thanks to them and everyone who voted for this site.  There's a tight 2Pac desktop background in the files section.  I'm working hard to finish the script right now so look for some big updates after it's done, including a members section.

There's been a lot of people lately saying, well you had an awesome site before and you let it go, never updated it, your not dedicated, it's going to happen again, etc.  This is not the case, the reason I couldn't update it before is this.  I was living with my mom, then she moved out and I lived on my own with a couple friends.  We moved a few more people in to afford the rent and we eventually had 7 people there.  I had no money, no internet, no computer and no access to one either and I was working to pay bills.  With that many people living there it was crazy.  Then the house started coming down and it was in my name, 2 people skipped out on rent, I got into a car accident, broke up with my girlfriend, quit my job, and moved to a different city.  A lot of things happened in between that I'm not even going to mention.  Since real life situations have to be more important than running a website I had to deal with it.  It took a long time coming to get to this point with the site running again and I'm telling you now this site will be the greatest, no matter how long it takes.

Aug 18  Apologies to truthugs.com, P  bites it

Apologies to truthugs.com, I was emailed by a guy who said I could link mp3s on an xoom account, the xoom account had no banners or urls so I didn't know they belonged to truthugs.com.  The mp3 links have been removed.

A source from Deathrow says the Outlawz album will hit this year for sure, followed by soopafly.  A release date for Dre's Chronic 2001 has been set at Sept 7th.  Master P has apparently has a new album about to be released on October 26th: Only God Can Judge Me - Greatest Hits.  This is just sad.  He's already coined pac's sayings, stolen his beats, performed 2Pac songs, modeled his double album after Pac and now he's naming his albums after Pac songs.   Puffy said on much music the deaths of Tupac and Biggie have made hiphop smarter, but if you asked me it's made it fake.  Rap is about expression of yourself and life through not only lyrics but through beats, chorus and titles, so to all the rappers out there, if you wanna rap do it with your own style.  Could you imagine the rage Tupac would inflict on rappers like Master P, C-Murder, Puffy, Nas and so on if he was still alive.  "Hey Nas remember that sh*t you said? ... ni**a you better really go to the record store, go check out some of the albums you be putting out muthaf*cka. We been saying on this thug sh*t for a while now. And I know you been listening cause you been biting this sh*t. So uh, recognize and realize before yo a** get rolled on!."

Aug 17  Makaveli Script, Puffy on Yahoo

Work on the script is nearing a beta version and I'm working hard to get it finished.  I haven't got a lot of time these days and being on the comp during summer sucks, so I've been working away at night and hopefully will have it complete soon.  If you have any additions you want to see added to the new version email me.

Puff Daddy's going to be on yahoo chat tonight at 9pm et, 6pm PT.  You can check it out at chat.yahoo.com.   Make sure to criticize him in every way possible, check out the Anti Puffy section if you need some material.

Aug 15  Release date set back

Everything from Deathrow has reportedly been pushed back, don't be surprised if the Outlawz album isn't released on the 24th like it was supposed to.  Word from an inside source at Deathrow Records says that they're planning on release dates of 2000 and 2003, lets hope they're sooner than that but knowing Deathrow I wouldn't count on it.

Aug 9  Site reopens !

It's been awhile and it hasn't been easy, but Hitemup.com is open again.  No mp3 or realaudio are up as of yet but I'm currently working out something major, so look for that.  There maybe links that dont work, if you come across any please report them.

Work on a new version of the Makaveli mIRC Script is well underway and looking like it's gonna kick some serious a**.  All info is going to be kept quiet until a release date is set.

Vote here for Tupac All Eyez on Me as the Best CD of 99.

Aug 3  Site nears completion

Hitemup.com has been slightly modified and reuploaded on to the server.  All that remains now is fixing links, uploading, and finishing touches on the site.
