| "There are hundreds of 2PAC sites in the world of cyberspace. Many blatantly disrespect PAC's legacy
(ie. posting autopsy pictures). Two sites in particular have contributed to both 2PAC's legacy and have helped ensure information about his music and art is readily available for fans around the world! 2PAClegacy Fan Club commends … HitEmUp.com for their hard work and efforts to put legitimate info about 2PAC on the net! Keep up the GOOD WORK" - The Estate of Tupac Shakur |
Summary
HitEmUp.com grew out of projects that began in 1995, and was formerly established in August 1996. We represent for Tupac with the intensity and passion with which he represented for us, he spoke for us, the oppressed with no voice, and in turn we feel we must speak for him, represent for him, and keep his words and spirit alive.
The site has grown greatly over the years, and we have networked with many that were close to Tupac, including Napoleon, The Outlawz, Big Syke and Thug Life, Johnny J (Producer), Leila Steinberg, Frank Alexander (Former bodyguard), Quincy Jones III (QD3), Fatal Hussein, the Estate of Tupac Shakur, as well as other artists including Xzibit, Yukmouth, Crooked I, Flawless, and Triple Beam. We have also received world-wide recognition in the form of television, radio, DVDs, and have been sourced in books and articles.
Demographics
The demographics are primarily males aged 18-25 followed closely by males aged 13-17. Most are Tupac fans or fans of west-coast music. Our latest site survey showed that 67% of our visitors return to the site on a daily basis, with 92% visiting at least weekly. We receive 14,000-18,000 visits daily, with approximately 185,000 unique visitors monthly.
